I am an analytical chemist and a microscopist, my research work is focused on understanding how the morphology and the nano-structure could improve the activity of heterogeneous catalysts and advanced materials. Using TEM, SEM and several analytical techniques I try to disclose the materials characteristic next to the synthesis of new materials and the design of featured reactors to test them.
I've published this website to share my research interests and some of the images I've collected around the nano- and real life-scale. All images are copyright so please contact me if you wish to use them.
If you're interested or curious about my research work then please get in touch; I'm always interested in collaborations and future funding opportunities!

- From 2009 worked at ISTM-CNR in Milan as post-doc researcher in the heterogeneous catalysis group for energy applications and chemical industry.
- From 2017 I am a research scientist in the same group; my work is focused on the advanced morphological and chemical structure characterization of nanostructured materials for catalysis, photocatalysis and electrocatalysis via electron microscopy TEM and SEM.
-From 2019 I am researcher scientist at SCITEC-CNR institute, The Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies "Giulio Natta" in Milano (IT)
Scientific Skills:
Supported metal and oxide nanoparticles synthesis for catalysis purposes via CVD and PA-CVS
